 We can now take 4 or more persons fishing at the same time out of our new Sea Ark 20' X 8' boat. Please provide dates and hours you wish to fish when emailing me for reservations. A $50.00 deposit is required to hold your date and is refundable up to 48 hours prior to trip.

Captain Rene supplies all rods and equipment. Persons are responsible for securing their valid Tennessee fishing license. I meet you at the lake at one of two designated ramp sites.

Captain Rene McComb,  I have been fishing for all but the first two years of my life. I have accomplished many goals and tournament victories throughout my time on the water. These include wins in Salmon tournaments on the great lakes fishing with my Dad on his charter boat "The Sandpiper". In addition to the salmon on lake Michigan  I was known for catching trophy walleyes in Saginaw Bay on Lake Huron. After moving to Tennessee in 1991 I found a whole new world of fishing opportunities for giant catfish, stripers and hybrid stripers. The first time I tried to fish for hybrids was during a tournament in which I placed third in. I won the next one and have accomplished several milestones in the local club that still stands to day. Since being a member and during tournaments for which I participated in, no ones has won more, placed in more then I have. Not even close. The one that stands out the most is the 3 consecutive year end classics in a row and 4 out of 5 years. I have now won 5 of the clubs fish-off championships and finished 3rd in 5 out of 12 attempts. In addition to my tournament accomplishments, I served as the secretary for the local club and have been published numerous times in magazine articles across the region. Always coming up with new ideas and approaches to catching stripers and hybrids, I educate my knowledge to those I guide. I believe in a hands on approach for my clients. They really appreciate being able to accomplish catching fish with a little instruction on my part. You'll be hard pressed to find a guide fishing Percy Priest or Tims Ford that doesn't know who I am. Most have learned from me and in return I pick up a few things from them.
